In the early hours of 13th November 2022, Leigh Timmis completed his epic seven-day cycle of 2,230 miles, breaking the previous world record by 19 miles.

It was an attempt defined by resilience and teamwork; battling three days of Hurricane Nicole’s historic winds and rain, Leigh and his team constantly adapted strategies, digging deep to turn a devastating storm into a record-breaking triumph.

The Fastest Cycle Across Europe

On the 26th of September 2018, Leigh Timmis cycled into the record books, becoming the fastest person to cycle across Europe in a time of 16 days 10 hours and 45 minutes.

Cycling 14 hours per day, from the west coast of Portugal to the edge of Siberia, he broke the previous world record by an astonishing eight days and seventeen hours.
